The original parish registers for St George’s Church are all held at Devon County Records Office, however the Modbury History Society holds written transcriptions of all baptism, marriage and burial records. You can search them using the links below.

Memorial Inscriptions
The Modbury History Society has just published a 378 page book containing details of The Inscriptions on the Headstones and Memorials of St George’s Church, Modbury.
The names on the inscriptions correlated (where possible) with the census returns 1841-1901.
